Entry Cook – Latitude - Full Time

Job Summary

The Entry Cook role supports daily service execution and maintains high culinary standards at Latitude, a signature dining outlet at Black Desert Resort.

Job Specifications

• Onsite: Black Desert Resort – Latitude

• Shift & Schedule: Year-Round / Full-Time

• Pay Rate: $17.00 – $19.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items for assigned stations according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.

• Aid with daily prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, portioning, and basic cooking techniques.

• Set up and break down stations before and after service.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, coolers, and storage areas.

• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.

• Support service execution by assisting senior cooks and chefs during peak periods.

• Monitor food quality, freshness, and rotation following FIFO standards.

• Absorb food deliveries as needed and communicate effectively with kitchen team members.

• Report equipment issues, shortages, or safety concerns to kitchen leadership.

• Uphold Black Desert Resort’s ultra-premium culinary and service standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous Kitchen Experience: Preferred but not required.

• Cooking Techniques: Basic knowledge required.

• Learning Attitude: Willingness to learn and take direction.

• Efficiency: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

• Flexible Hours: Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
