Job Summary
The Entry Cook role supports daily service execution and maintains high culinary standards at Latitude, a signature dining outlet at Black Desert Resort.
Job Specifications
Onsite: Black Desert Resort – Latitude
Shift & Schedule: Year-Round / Full-Time
Pay Rate: $17.00 – $19.00/hour
Responsibilities
Prepare food items for assigned stations according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
Aid with daily prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, portioning, and basic cooking techniques.
Set up and break down stations before and after service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, coolers, and storage areas.
Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Support service execution by assisting senior cooks and chefs during peak periods.
Monitor food quality, freshness, and rotation following FIFO standards.
Absorb food deliveries as needed and communicate effectively with kitchen team members.
Report equipment issues, shortages, or safety concerns to kitchen leadership.
Uphold Black Desert Resort’s ultra-premium culinary and service standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous Kitchen Experience: Preferred but not required.
Cooking Techniques: Basic knowledge required.
Learning Attitude: Willingness to learn and take direction.
Efficiency: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Flexible Hours: Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
