Position Responsibilities

  • Route contracts in-house and to vendors.
  • Affirm all contracts are fully executed and routed to Finance, Legal, Purchasing, and kept in Department file.
  • Ensure all vendors complete vendor registration forms with the Purchasing Department and submit their certificate of insurance before the event date.
  • Create and update all Fire Permits and Applications.
  • Generate all payments of invoices, including cash advances, deposits, and balances.
  • Create and update spreadsheet reflecting the Director of Entertainment’s needs.
  • Coordinate credentials and distribute all assets with Marketing.
  • Assist Entertainment heads with special assignments and necessary tasks on the day of show.
  • Compile an Around the Town Entertainment Report.
  • Provide thoughtful service to guests and co-workers.
  • Perform routine administrative duties as needed.
  • Compose correspondence, sort mail, and screen phone calls.

Essential Functions

  • Exposure to casino-related environmental factors, including secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and hectic environments.
  • Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (read, write, speak, and understand).
  • At least 1-2 years' experience working directly in an entertainment environment required.
  • At least 1-2 years' experience in a casino environment preferred.
  • Ability to read "fine print" areas of invoices and contracts.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Ability to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.
  • Ability to meet artists upon arrival prior to engagement dates.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to compose letters and generate reports as requested on a tight timeline.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality within the department.

Pay

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $40,500 to $52,600 annually. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above.
