About the Opportunity

The Enterprise Technical Lead will manage and guide delivery for the largest and most strategic client engagements within the Cloud Native Applications team. This role leads a technical team to design and build AI-first software solutions, handling complex technical and organizational challenges. The position demands hands-on involvement with advanced technologies and leadership in ambiguous, high-stakes enterprise environments. Success in this role ensures effective execution of large-scale projects and fosters strong client and team relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 5-8 software engineers and architects.
• Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and career development discussions.
• Lead delivery of AI-first, production-ready software in complex environments.
• Oversee technical requirements gathering, decision making, backlog management, and architectural design.
• Facilitate discovery sessions with client stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable backlogs.
• Create and present architecture diagrams to engineering teams and client leadership.
• Contribute hands-on to AI-first software development and AI-driven testing automation.
• Mentor team members and share best practices for managing high-stakes engagements.
• Serve as senior escalation point to address delivery risks and client-team issues.
• Manage status reporting and communication with client leadership, including steering committee presentations.
• Collaborate with project managers and peers to resolve challenges in complex client organizations.
• Support pre-sales activities such as scope development, contract review, and client presentations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience with AWS cloud-native systems.
• 4+ years managing technical teams through large or complex engagements.
• Experience managing professional services engagements involving multiple stakeholders and integration complexities.
• Strong foundation in engineering practices and scalable system architectures.
• Proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Node.js, C#, or TypeScript; familiarity with frontend frameworks like React, Vue, MVC, or .NET.
• Experience building AI applications for productivity and client solutions.
• Deep expertise with AWS technologies.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to varied audiences.
• Skilled in stakeholder alignment, conflict resolution, and navigating organizational complexity.
