About the Role
KBR is looking for a motivated Enterprise Systems Integrator to join our team and provide Systems Engineer Technical Advisor (SETA) support for the Intelligence Community Customer Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED). GED plays a critical role in enabling the Intelligence Community Customer to plan and execute intelligence-gathering missions, transforming collected data into useful information for the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) users. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and deliver products that support our customers’ advanced systems.
In support of GED Front Office, Chief Architect, Integrated Intelligence Program Office, Advanced Ground Office, and Enterprise Data Applications and Platforms, you'll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams focused on hardware, software, system integration, and data analysis to help achieve important missions and meet requirements. This is a contingent position based upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of agency approaches to Systems Engineering (SE) and SE Management.
- Provide mission expertise in GED Front Office, Chief Architect, Integrated Intelligence Program Office, Advanced Ground Office, and Enterprise Data Applications and Platforms.
- Develop and implement enterprise integration architectures using technologies such as ESB, API, SOA, microservices, cloud, and hybrid deployment models.
- Lead complex integration projects, manage technical teams, and deliver integration shared services to various application teams.
- Improve systems integration standard work using operating system principles and other best practices.
- Develop and manage operational and capital budgets for integration initiatives.
- Support the creation of technical proposals for new program opportunities.
- Develop work plans for integration, conduct EMI/EMC testing, and ensure design verification and validation.
- Build strong relationships across business units to implement and standardize processes.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for complex systems, including server management, network troubleshooting, and application integration.
Requirements
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance and Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience with system integration, with progressive responsibility and experience in enterprise environments.
- Commonly sought certifications include ITIL, PMP, RHCE, APICS, LEAN, and industry-specific credentials.
- Ability to analyze complex systems, identify integration challenges, and develop effective solutions.
- Experience managing multiple projects, leading teams, and mentoring junior staff.
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering.
- Clear written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder reporting.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Pay
Basic compensation: $150,200 – $206,500 per annum (This range is for the VA area only). The rate offered will be based on the selected candidate’s work location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and consideration of internal parity.
