Enterprise System Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Enterprise System Engineer to join the JETSII Contract, providing Systems Engineering, Architecture and Operations support.
Responsibilities
The Enterprise System Engineer will assist the NMC Chief Engineer and Chief Architect on various tasks, including creation of a System Functional Design Review (SFDR) package, tracking and management of design review feedback, and advising on NASA 7XXX series tailoring and compliance. Specific responsibilities include:
- Creation of a System Functional Design Review (SFDR) package inclusive of all artifacts
- Tracking and management of design review feedback and RIDs and associated lifecycle management
- Merging, and handling of NMC requirements documents and change traffic
- Leading activities around standardization, creation, and versioning of artifacts like system drawings
- Coordinating on NMC technical trade study activities as needed
- Establishing NMC team internal best practices around system engineering artifacts and processes
- Coordinating and advising the NMC Chief Engineer and NMC Project Manager on systems engineering artifact and process integration with NMC customer equivalent processes
Requirements
This position typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in a related area or experience in the field, with proficiency in areas such as Computer Science, Python, C++, JavaScript, JSNode, SQL, NOSQL, Machine Learning, Software Development, and Object-Oriented Programming.

Preferred qualifications include experience with GitLab, Machine Learning, Debugging, Collaborative Development, and Code Reviews.

Pay
The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
Schedule
We offer a 9/80 work schedule (every other Friday off), when applicable, and regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
