Enterprise Strategic Program Management Principal
About the role
The Enterprise Strategic Program Management Principal oversees strategic programs across various domains, driving progress within the P&L and ensuring rigorous and visible outcomes. This role influences business decisions through a fact-based approach, translating new ideas into execution and effectively communicating with senior leaders.
Responsibilities
- Independently manages day-to-day oversight for large-scale projects, facilitating problem-solving and escalating risks and issues.
- Owns and drives comprehensive program plans, including setting goals, objectives, and requirements.
- Responsible for valuing initiatives and applying appropriate rigor related to their value.
- Drives program management and operating model standards to ensure solid execution and accelerated delivery.
- Develops reports and presentations to share insights and maintain ongoing line of sight to program progress and outcomes, including executive visibility to risks, roadblocks, successes, etc.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent in business administration or related discipline.
- Minimum Experience: Five to eight (5-8) years of experience in program management or project management in a business environment with demonstrated ability to lead large, complex projects and programs and build professional rapport.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent analytical, organizational, and planning skills; strong human relations and communications skills; understanding of business management and operational supply chain management; strong executive presence and experience working with leadership; previous experience at a business strategy consulting firm is considered a plus.
Qualifications
- Stakeholder Management: Experience working with Finance leaders, IT teams, and executive stakeholders.
- Finance & FP&A Knowledge: Budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, finance transformation.
- Systems Implementation: Examples: SAP, Oracle, Workday Adaptive, Power BI, etc.
- Project Delivery: Planning, execution, risk management, issue resolution, governance.
- Reporting & Analytics: BI, dashboards, KPI reporting, data transformation initiatives.
- Requirements & Process Improvement: Business requirements, process redesign, workshop facilitation.
- Remote Team Leadership: Leading distributed teams and managing cross-functional workstreams.
Benefits
This position is eligible for remote work and may be located anywhere within the United States excluding AK, HI and U.S. territories, however if you live within the 50 miles radius of a campus you will be required to work at a FedEx campus location several times per week.
Pay
US Pay Range: $8,007.29 - $18,149.85 monthly
Schedule
The position offers flexibility for remote work, with occasional requirement to work at a FedEx campus location.
