About the Role

Slalom is seeking an experienced Enterprise AI Developer to help design, build, and implement AI-enabled solutions across Salesforce and other enterprise business applications. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who is excited about applying Generative AI, Agentforce, automation, and modern development practices to solve meaningful client challenges.

In this role, you will work as part of cross-functional delivery teams to build proof of concepts, production-ready capabilities, integrations, and reusable patterns that help clients adopt AI responsibly and effectively. You will collaborate with architects, consultants, developers, and client stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.

The ideal candidate brings strong Salesforce development experience, curiosity about emerging AI technologies, and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with Agentforce, Prompt Builder, Data Cloud, RAG patterns, or cloud-based AI platforms is highly valued, but we also value candidates who are actively learning and applying these capabilities.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a results-driven technologist who enjoys hands-on development, collaborative problem solving, and delivering practical AI solutions that create real business impact.

What You'll Do

  • Work as a hands-on technical consultant on engagements involving AI, Salesforce, Agentforce, and other enterprise business applications.
  • Build and configure AI-enabled Salesforce solutions, including Agentforce capabilities, prompt-based experiences, automation, integrations, and supporting components.
  • Contribute as an individual developer on active client engagements, partnering closely with architects, consultants, and other developers.
  • Help create POCs, POVs, and reusable examples that demonstrate how AI can be applied within Salesforce and across other enterprise platforms.
  • Translate business requirements into well-structured technical solutions with support from solution architects and delivery leads.
  • Develop using Salesforce technologies such as Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, flows, APIs, and related platform capabilities.
  • Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve the quality, reliability, and usefulness of AI-powered experiences.
  • Support implementation of Agentforce and related AI frameworks, including configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with Slalom teams across specializations such as Salesforce, data, cloud, automation, and AI to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Explain Generative AI concepts, development patterns, and solution tradeoffs to internal teams and clients in a clear, practical way.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices across the team.
  • Help implement integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems, data platforms, or AI services.
  • Support developers and project teams in learning how to build AI-enabled applications using practical, maintainable patterns.
  • Work across the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design support, development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
  • Plan and execute deployments with appropriate testing, coordination, and technical documentation.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong Salesforce development experience across one or more Salesforce clouds.
  • Hands-on experience with Apex, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, APIs, and Salesforce platform development patterns.
  • Experience building or supporting Salesforce solutions that balance configuration, customization, automation, and code.
  • Exposure to Generative AI technologies and a strong interest in applying AI to enterprise business problems.
  • Familiarity with Agentforce, Prompt Builder, Einstein capabilities, Data Cloud, RAG patterns, or related AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities.
  • Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to audiences with varying levels of technical experience.
  • A practical understanding of when to configure, when to customize, and when to escalate design decisions for broader architectural input.
  • A desire to solve difficult problems, learn emerging technologies, and deliver reliable, enterprise-ready solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a delivery team and contribute to shared technical outcomes.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity, asking thoughtful questions, and iterating toward effective client solutions.
  • Experience with documentation, testing, deployment planning, and development best practices.
