Enterprise Sales Development Representative
About the Role
Vector Solutions is a leading, AI-enabled, performance platform powering safe, compliant, and efficient operations for the public, educational, and commercial sectors. The Enterprise SDR is a specialized Sales Development role built to generate pipeline for a new, AI-native software product for industrial manufacturing companies. This is an all-outbound seat: you will prospect into Vector’s existing commercial customer base and break into net-new logos. You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, and product leadership to help launch and shape a brand-new product line at Vector, with your feedback directly influencing messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy.
From day one, you’ll work in a best-in-class, AI-enabled sales tech stack, including Claude, Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and conversation intelligence tools. This role is designed for growth, with high performers eligible for promotion to Senior SDR in as little as nine months and pathways into Enterprise Sales Specialist, Account Executive, Customer Success, and Renewals roles. The role offers uncapped earning potential, with commissions paid monthly.
Responsibilities
- Generate qualified pipeline for Vector’s new AI-native software product through outbound prospecting into industrial and manufacturing accounts, both existing Vector customers and net-new logos.
- Build and own your target account list, researching accounts and mapping stakeholders to identify where the product fits before outreach.
- Run multi-touch outbound campaigns across calls, email, social, and video to generate interest among technical and operational buyers.
- Qualify prospects by uncovering operational challenges the product solves, then translate those into a credible business case for a first meeting.
- Schedule and help prepare qualified discovery meetings and product demonstrations for the Enterprise Sales Specialist to lead.
- Partner closely with the Enterprise Sales Specialist to refine targeting, messaging, and positioning for a product with no established playbook.
- Serve as an early voice of the customer, relaying product feedback, objections, and market signal back to the team to shape the roadmap and go-to-market approach.
- Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using Salesforce and Outreach.
- Stay current on commercial sector trends and buyer priorities to speak credibly with prospects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1+ years in outbound prospecting (SDR, BDR, lead generation) with a track record of self-sourced pipeline that converted to meetings and conversations.
- B2B selling experience, ideally with longer sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of industrial and manufacturing sectors, including buyer personas, pain points, and evaluation processes.
- Comfortable engaging with enterprise-level credibility: you speak their language, ask smart questions, and earn respect from operations and learning leaders.
- Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity—you’ll help define the selling motion for a new product, iterating fast and being coachable when early messaging doesn’t land.
- Strong communication: you can clearly and credibly explain a complex, new offering to sophisticated buyers.
- Organized and self-motivated: you manage a focused pipeline independently, track your own metrics, and take ownership of your numbers without constant check-ins.
- Interest in sales technology (Salesforce, Outreach, or similar); experience is a plus, but willingness to learn is what matters.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
