This role supports the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies, assesses, and documents enterprise, operational, financial, and insurable risks; maintains the corporate risk register and keeps it current.
  • Maintains highly confidential and sensitive risk, claims, and incident information, files, correspondence, and records.
  • Conducts risk assessments and analyses; develops, monitors, and reports key risk indicators (KRIs) and recommends risk mitigation and control improvements.
  • Prepares routine and complex risk reports, dashboards, and presentations using advanced spreadsheet, data-visualization, and analytics tools.
  • Researches, analyzes, and compiles risk data, loss trends, and exposure figures to support management decision-making.
  • Maintains and manages the objectives dashboard of prioritized risk focus areas.
  • Supports business continuity and crisis management planning, including response analysis and risk input.
  • Administers insurance program support, including certificate of insurance approvals, and oversees the process of renewal data.
  • Identifies process challenges and recommends improvements to risk management workflows and reporting.
  • Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for RMIS and GRC applications.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or university with a concentration in Risk Management, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • One to three years of experience in risk management, insurance, finance, audit, or analytics is preferred.
  • Professional certification or progress toward one (e.g., ARM, CRM, FRM) is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and familiarity with data-visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proven organizational, project-management, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with enterprise risk management, insurance, business continuity, or governance/risk/compliance (GRC) concepts and tools.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week.
  • Based out of the North Dallas office in Dallas, TX.
