Enterprise Requirements and Integration Engineer

ENSCO, Inc is a diverse engineering and technology company seeking an Enterprise Requirements and Integration Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. You will support Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) activities in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment, providing senior-level enterprise systems engineering and technical leadership for SATCOM capabilities. This position requires extensive coordination with government, acquisition, operational, and industry stakeholders to ensure technical alignment, interoperability, and successful capability delivery across the SATCOM enterprise.
About the Role
The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading-edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the US Space Force’s Space Systems Center (SSC). We support the Space Force’s acquisition of state-of-the-art satellite communications systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation’s warfighters. We seek technical individuals who will thrive in a highly collaborative work environment of small teams, using the most modern tools and methodologies to tackle the challenges of integrating complex space and ground communications systems. This position is on-site in Colorado Springs, CO.
Responsibilities
- Apply Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) to support development of technical baselines
- Analyze system requirements that define the technical baseline and verification of the technical baseline
- Work with Government and contractor personnel to close gaps in flow of customer requirements down through the system and component levels
- Lead and support Government/Contractor Working Group meetings—by creating briefings, leading discussion, and writing minutes—to resolve risks, requirement gaps, integration issues, and action items
- Review proposed changes to the technical baseline for impacts to enterprise capabilities and to cross-stakeholder integration concerns
- Facilitate review of program documents by providing comments, compiling other reviewer comments, and working with contractor to adjudicate the comments
- Serve as a subject matter expert to assess technical issues and to prepare briefings to U.S. Space Force management
- Support management of risks, issues, interdependencies, identifying schedule disconnects and conflicts, developing action plans for resolution, and assisting the Government in executing selected solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, or network and telecommunications
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Satellite Communications
- Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools used to support requirements development and traceability
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organization capability with ability to handle competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate ideas, recommendations, and options to customers, senior leaders, and stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
Qualifications (Desired)
- Master’s degree in engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, or network and telecommunications
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience with MILSATCOM, such as AEHF, EPS, WGS, and FAB-T terminal programs
- Experience working with military or DoD civilian clients
- Experience with ground and airborne systems, such as terminals and networks
- Certifications in Systems Engineering (INCOSE ESEP, CSEP)
- Certifications in MBSE (OCSMP)
- Certifications in Agile Development
- Knowledge and experience in Jira and Confluence
- Active DOD Secret security clearance or higher

Pay
Salary Range: $123,000 - $154,000 USD
