About the role

Own end-to-end delivery of an essential platform or program relating to performance, pricing, productivity, and/or profitability across the Enterprise. Be responsible for the day-to-day experience of users within the Lines of Business, corporate functions, and senior leadership. Ensure data and reporting is timely, accurate, and actionable.

Responsibilities

  • Own complete end-to-end delivery of at least one critical Enterprise Performance Acceleration platform or program.
  • Support teammates in improving analytics, reporting, corporate communications, capabilities, goals, and incentives relating to performance, pricing, productivity, and profitability.
  • Project manage and execute special projects and ad-hoc deliverables to support performance related initiatives at the Enterprise and Business Unit level.
  • Lead the creation of reporting that enables business leaders to translate performance concepts and inputs into actionable insights.
  • Partner with lines of business and corporate functions to understand data and drivers to optimize performance outcomes.
  • Direct or otherwise influence a team of data, analytics, strategy, and product specialists with a diverse set of backgrounds and abilities in support of existing Enterprise Performance initiatives.
  • Lead business validation efforts for new technical features and products, including writing requirements, designing tests, troubleshooting data or other system issues, and effectively communicate upstream & downstream impacts to business leaders.
  • Effectively communicate status, challenges, and roadmaps of owned platforms/programs to EPA leadership and key business stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and relevant work experience required.
  • Seven (7) or more years in Consumer and/or Wholesale Banking or a banking corporate function (HR/Finance/Risk/Tech, etc.).
  • Experience creating dashboards, analytics, or performance reporting with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau and QlikSense plus advanced Excel skills (technical manager) OR prior experience in a banking/FI strategy or consulting role (strategic manager).
  • Strong comprehension banking products and coverage models, including Wholesale and Consumer Banking, Payments, and requisite client experiences thereof.
  • Sound presentation skills and ability to translate metrics into understandable business insights.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage direct reports and to effectively influence outcomes of projects with shifting priorities; mentor and guide junior talent through growth & development opportunities.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to understand critical business needs and direct and develop solutions to utilize available data to accurately inform executive and senior leadership on ad hoc and regular initiatives, recommend improvements, and advise gaps in the business.
  • Identify and solve problems with a data-driven approach.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements and data visualization enhancements.
  • Train and support team members and stakeholders in the use of dashboards and BI tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or professional certification.
  • Experience in a strategy, performance, pricing, or program management role.
  • Comprehension of finance, pricing, and treasury concepts such as FTP and marginal funding curve, liquidity premiums, yields, spreads, return metrics, and underwriting concepts (Risk-Adjusted returns, PD, LGD, EL).
  • Experience in managing complex data sets and the usage of data tools such as Snowflake, SAS, SQL, and Python.
