  • Develop and support REST APIs, SQL-based integrations, data transformations, file-based integrations, and application-to-application integrations.
  • Utilize vendor-native integration capabilities where appropriate, including SAP Integration Suite (CPI), JDE Orchestrator, and other application-specific tools.
  • Develop and support MuleSoft Anypoint integrations when native tooling does not exist or is not desirable.
  • Follow design principles and practices while ensuring solutions remain practical, supportable, and cost-effective.
  • Evaluate integration approaches based on speed to market, maintainability, cost, scalability, and supportability.
  • Build reusable integration components, templates, and patterns that accelerate future delivery.
  • Collaborate with application teams, business analysts, engineers, platform teams, and vendors.
  • Support production integrations, incident resolution, monitoring, and root cause analysis.
  • Maintain integration documentation, standards, support procedures, and operational runbooks.

Integration Modernization & Optimization

Assess existing integrations and identify opportunities to improve reliability, maintainability, observability, and operational support.

  • Refactor, redesign, or modernize integrations that are difficult to troubleshoot, monitor, support, or extend.
  • Reduce technical debt by eliminating unnecessary complexity, undocumented customizations, and fragile point-to-point integrations.
  • Improve integration resilience through standardized error handling, logging, monitoring, alerting, retry mechanisms, and support procedures.
  • Partner with application teams to transition legacy integrations toward reusable APIs, event-driven patterns, or vendor-supported approaches where appropriate.
  • Establish and promote integration standards that improve supportability, reduce operational risk, and enable efficient knowledge transfer across teams.
