About the Role

At the heart of Slalom’s Enterprise Capability is a bold ambition: to design and deliver intelligent, human-centered business applications that empower organizations to serve their customers with acceleration, agility, precision, and purpose. We partner with leading platforms—Salesforce, ServiceNow, Adobe, Anaplan, Workday, Contentful, Boomi, Workato and more—to build scalable, end-to-end solutions that unify data, streamline operations, and unlock actionable insights. Our work powers everything from smarter CRM experiences and next-gen commerce sites to resilient case management systems and optimized workforce planning.

But we're not just technologists—we’re strategic enablers. Whether helping a client modernize their infrastructure, integrate mission-critical functions, or activate AI-powered innovation, we connect strategy to execution in ways that drive measurable impact. Here, you’ll collaborate with curious, courageous people who believe in growth through experimentation, delivering value through partnerships, and building a future where technology works quietly in service of extraordinary outcomes.

Who You'll Work With

You'll join Slalom's global team of strategists, researchers, designers, and technologists. This team is dedicated to achieving strategic goals, investing in the future, and driving innovation. Your role will involve working with diverse teams to develop modern, composable digital experiences using cutting-edge technologies and API-first platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build semantic, accessible, modular components that ensure performance and scalability.
  • Develop modern digital experiences using headless CMS platforms like Contentful, Sanity, ContentStack, Storybloq, and Sitecore AI.
  • Use platforms like Vercel to manage and deploy applications efficiently, focusing on performance and speed.
  • Automate front-end infrastructure, integrate with back-end APIs, and streamline design systems usage across multiple brands and channels.
  • Collaborate with project managers, digital strategists, designers, and researchers to craft bespoke digital experiences using modern composable architectures.

Requirements

  • Front-end Expertise: Strong proficiency in semantic, responsive, and accessible front-end code, modern JavaScript frameworks such as Next.js, React, or Vue.js, a solid understanding of CSS, and familiarity with frameworks like Tailwind.
  • Work Across the Stack: Build API routes, wire up databases, configure auth flows, set up CI/CD, and debug production issues without waiting for a backend engineer.
  • Composable & Headless Architectures: Deep experience with API-first, headless Digital Experience Platforms (DXP) like CMS, DAM, Personalization, CDP, and integrating with SaaS APIs and API gateways.
  • Unit Testing: Define and implement testing strategies for React/Next.js applications using tools like Jest, Vitest, and React Testing Library. Write tests and establish patterns that make testing approachable for the broader team.
  • Design Systems: Experience consuming component libraries and design systems (e.g., Figma, Storybook) to ensure consistency across brands and channels.
  • Performance Optimization: Understanding of Core Web Vitals, image optimization, code splitting, and caching strategies to deliver fast, high-quality user experiences.
  • DevOps Awareness: Comfortable with Git workflows and deployment automation in platforms like Vercel or Netlify.
  • Simplifying Complexity: Excel at making complex technical challenges easily understandable for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Balancing Technical & Business Goals: Expertly balance technical constraints with business opportunities, providing solutions that address human-centered and technical problems.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a positive and collaborative environment where multidisciplinary teams thrive, working within agile processes using tools such as JIRA and adjusting swiftly to new priorities or discoveries.
  • Negotiation & Conflict Management: Embrace conflict constructively, are a strong negotiator, and can confidently articulate your point of view while remaining flexible to adjust your approach when new information arises.
  • Customer-Centric Solutions: Partner with clients to understand their unique business needs, providing tailored digital solutions that enhance user experiences and business outcomes.
  • Strategic Leadership: Guide clients through platform selection, migration strategies, and composable architecture adoption.
  • Adaptability & Growth Mindset: Get up to speed quickly, embrace shifting technical landscapes, and maintain a mindset of continuous learning. Understand that today's stack may not be tomorrow's.
  • AI-Augmented Development: Leverage AI coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot) as a core part of your workflow, including generating, refactoring, and debugging code; writing tests and documentation; and identifying where AI meaningfully accelerates delivery. Translate requirements into AI-assisted workflows, communicate tradeoffs to clients, and support conversations about responsible AI adoption.
