Description
Develops, implements and supports the usage of data visualization toolkit, configuration, deployment and usage. Applies advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise, full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction, mentors and may supervise team members.
Clearance
A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Experience
Fourteen (14) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Required Skills
- Experience developing software using Python or Java
- Experience in data modeling, including normalization of data and working with metrics
- Experience developing and maintaining web-based server applications and implementing algorithms that interface with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
- Experience developing task automation using AWS API
- Experience with periodic or streaming data
- Experience with Linux and shell scripting
- Ability to design, develop, and implement data processing workflows
- Ability to develop and optimize data structures using JSON, YAML, or NoSQL Databases
Desired Skills
- Experience with unstructured databases (Mongo, Elasticsearch) and graph databases (Neo4J)
- Experience with implementation of test environments for automated code validation
- Experience working with containers
- Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and tooling like Terraform
- Experience with mono-repo architecture and tooling
- Experience with web page design in JavaScript, Angular, or Python Shiny
- Experience developing pipelines using AWS API (Lambda and Step functions)
- Knowledge of network protocols such as SNMP or BGP
- Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment
Benefits
The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $225,000 - $245,000.
