Salary Range: $140,000–$170,000 Annually

About the Role

We are seeking an Enterprise Cloud Architect to design and govern cloud-native solutions across compute, networking, data, identity, and security domains on a major cloud platform. The role partners closely with business stakeholders, security architects, and engineering teams to translate strategic objectives into pragmatic, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures aligned with enterprise standards. The ideal candidate brings strong breadth across modern cloud capabilities, depth in at least one major provider, and the architectural judgment to balance time-to-market, cost, security, and long-term maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern cloud-native solutions on a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Translate strategic business objectives into scalable, cost-effective cloud architectures.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, security architects, and engineering teams.
• Produce formal architecture artifacts and present them to senior leadership.
• Lead architecture reviews and influence engineering direction.
• Drive cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation programs.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards for security, networking, and identity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Eight or more years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles.
• Deep expertise designing cloud-native solutions on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security primitives.
• Experience with containerization, serverless, and managed data services.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Cloud architecture certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Preferred Qualifications

• Multiple cloud architecture certifications.
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Exposure to regulated industries with strict cloud compliance requirements.
• Experience driving FinOps and cost transparency initiatives.

Pay

$140,000–$170,000 Annually
