About the Role

The Client Data & Insights Manager serves as a strategic business partner for Sales Cloud CRM, HDR’s client relationship/opportunity intelligence platform. This role is responsible for maximizing the value of Sales Cloud by ensuring high-quality data, strong user adoption, effective reporting, and continuous process improvements across the enterprise. Working closely with Marketing, Business Development, Operations, Technology, and executive leadership across the organization, this individual helps transform Sales Cloud into a trusted business tool that improves decision-making, strengthens pursuit strategies, increases operational efficiency, and enhances the overall client experience.

This is an in-office position and can be based in any established HDR location in the US.

Responsibilities

  • System Optimization
    • Serve as the enterprise business partner for Sales Cloud CRM, ensuring it effectively supports business development, marketing, and operational objectives.
    • Evaluate existing workflows and recommend improvements that simplify processes, improve efficiency, and increase organizational value.
    • Partner with Technology team and software vendors to support CRM system configuration, enhancements, troubleshooting, testing, and ongoing platform optimization.
    • Act as the primary communications liaison for regional CRM champions/leads.
    • Identify opportunities to leverage automation, integrations, AI, and emerging technologies to improve productivity and user experience.
    • Document CRM system processes, standards, best practices, and user procedures.
  • User Adoption, Training, & Organizational Enablement
    • Build trusted relationships across the organization to understand user needs, identify barriers to adoption, and improve overall system effectiveness.
    • Promote organizational adoption by encouraging consistent use of established processes, standards, and best practices.
    • Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for additional training, coaching, and process improvements.
    • Design, deliver, and manage training programs, user resources, communications, and support materials that enable employees to effectively utilize Sales Cloud.
  • Data Quality + Governance
    • Establish and maintain standards that promote accurate, complete, and consistent data throughout Sales Cloud.
    • Monitor data quality, identify trends, and proactively address gaps or inconsistencies that impact reporting and decision-making.
    • Develop processes that improve data integrity while reducing duplicate, incomplete, or outdated information.
    • Partner with business leaders to improve accountability for data quality across business groups.
    • Conduct periodic audits to ensure information remains accurate, relevant, and actionable.
  • Business Intelligence & Reporting
    • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide meaningful business insights.
    • Develop reporting that supports business development, marketing performance, pursuit strategy, market intelligence, and operational decision-making.
    • Analyze trends, user activity, pipeline information, client data, and other performance metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
    • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
    • Continuously evaluate reporting needs and recommend enhancements that improve organizational visibility and decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation
    • Stay informed on emerging technologies, AI, automation tools, and industry best practices.
    • Evaluate new solutions that improve organizational efficiency and user experience.
    • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, streamline workflows, and increase productivity through technology.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, innovation, and ongoing optimization of CRM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience supporting marketing technology, CRM platforms, business systems, marketing operations, or related functions, preferably in the A/E/C industry.
  • Demonstrated experience improving organizational adoption of enterprise platforms through training, communication, and change management.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, and business intelligence using marketing or business systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret data and translate findings into meaningful business recommendations.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Sales Cloud, Salesforce, Unanet CRM, Microsoft Dynamics, Deltek, or similar enterprise CRM platforms.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and workflow automation.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics, client relationship management, and business development processes.
  • Experience leading organizational change management or enterprise technology implementation initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of AI-powered productivity and marketing tools.

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location. Range: $130,000-$150,000.
