Responsibilities

• Lead report development projects with a focus on effective visualization, design, and automation.
• Manage the business requirements collection and documentation to effectively translate business needs into meaningful reports and insights.
• Ensure primary stakeholders understand how to use reports through demonstrations and creation of supporting tools.
• Recommend reporting improvements and lead the corresponding development efforts to enhance existing reporting.
• Manage reporting routines and coordinate with business partners on delivery and issue resolution.
• Research and communicate the latest advancements in Power BI and other data visualization tools.

Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline and 3+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of three years of direct experience with BI visualization tools and their implementation, ideally PowerBI or similar tools such as Tableau or Qlik.

Skills

• Strong SQL skills
• Solid understanding of design principles and aesthetics of business dashboards, data visualization and reports
• Ability to work with large amounts of data and effectively communicate trends and insights
• Must be able to define, shape, and drive projects to completion independently while effectively collaborating with others
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, work ethic and the ability to work well individually as well as in cross-functional project teams
• Basic database understanding and data modelling is a plus
