Enterprise Asset Management Analyst (EAM)

About the role

This position requires 36 months of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) experience implementing and managing EAM systems, specifically with the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) or similar state departments. Additionally, 2 years of direct experience with NYSDOT systems and processes are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed requirements specifications for software applications and serve as a liaison between users and developers.
• Write SQL queries for data retrieval, reporting, and database management.
• Facilitate technical solutions by analyzing and solving problems based on user demands.
• Migrate legacy Microsoft Access databases to modern data warehouse repositories and enterprise data platforms.
• Generate comprehensive reports and map point-to-location data using GIS expertise.
• Understand and translate customer needs into functional and non-functional specifications according to industry standards and SSDLC.
• Analyze and model business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes.
• Translate technical information into clear, readable documents for both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Experience with process modeling and data analysis for on-line transactional processing systems, data warehouses, and data transformation.

Requirements

• 84 months of Software Analyst experience.
• 36 months of Data Migration Expertise.
• 24 months of Geospatial Information System (GIS) experience.
• 48 months of experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
• 48 months of experience working in a fast-paced environment with diverse stakeholders.
• Masters in Business Administration (MBA), accounting, IT, or a related field.
