Enterprise Architect, Lead
About the role
The Enterprise Architect, Lead is responsible for designing enterprise architecture to enable strategic or tactical transformations through informed decision-making at any level of an enterprise. This includes governance, future growth, adaptability, optimization, innovation, and modernization initiatives such as cloud, digital solutions, enterprise DevSecOps, and AI/ML.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive enterprise architecture frameworks for large-scale organizations, covering systems, data, applications, and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. government cyber compliance, including Risk Management Framework (RMF), Security Requirements Guides (SRG), System Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and mitigate risks in technology implementation and operations.
- Lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively with executives, IT teams, and business units to align technology solutions with organizational goals.
- Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts in enterprise architecture.
- Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision.
- Mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software delivery across key areas such as development, cybersecurity, data engineering and analytics, and operations.
- Experience designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive enterprise architecture frameworks for large-scale organizations.
- Knowledge of enterprise IT operations across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments supporting a wide range of capabilities, including DevSecOps, MLOps, and application and data management.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively with executives, IT teams, and business units to align technology solutions with organizational goals.
- TS/SCI clearance.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of enterprise IT operations across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments supporting a wide range of capabilities, including DevSecOps, MLOps, and application and data management.
- Experience with COTS data platform technology such as Palantir, Databricks, or Cloudera.
- Experience with Agentic platforms.
- Experience in business development.
- Knowledge of common software architecture patterns such as microservices, layered, event-driven, or serverless.
- Knowledge of DoDAF or ToGAF.
- Experience with solutions architecture.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks such as Terraform or Ansible.

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
