About the Role
This Enterprise Architect role focuses on defining and overseeing enterprise architecture principles and standards, leading platform selection, and ensuring alignment of application and system architectures with enterprise needs. The position involves significant collaboration with technology and business teams, executive leadership, and external partners to drive multi-year roadmaps and optimize architecture.
Compensation
$170,000 - $200,000 annually plus bonus.
Location
First 90 days on-site, then 1 day per week remote. Locations: Camas, WA; Plano, TX; Tampa, FL.
Work Authorization
U.S. Citizen or Green Card holders only.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of combined experience in solution, technical, and business architecture roles, with 7+ years leading, developing, and mentoring teams.
- 5+ years of architecture experience at a large wealth management or asset management firm.
- Strong knowledge of Charles River Development (CRD) in a wealth management context, specifically dealing with Unified Managed Account (UMA) portfolio structures.
- Experience with application, data, integration, security, and technology platform architectures and implementation patterns.
- Experience with Sylvan (preferred), a tool that handles downstream data and complex accounting processes.
- Experience with Azure data and integration services (preferred).
- Proven ability to implement multiple complex enterprise-level changes simultaneously, including guiding and measuring adoption of best practices.
Responsibilities
- Define and oversee adherence to enterprise architecture principles and standards across applications, infrastructure, and information security.
- Lead the selection of important platforms (cloud and on-premises), products, and vendors for enterprise-wide programs.
- Ensure the architecture of applications and systems—especially cloud-based data and integration architecture with CRD as a foundation for Front and Middle Office functions, and SS&C GWP & Sylvan for Back Office functions—aligns with enterprise needs.
- Evaluate current technology solutions and plan, design, and coordinate multi-year roadmaps for all applications and support activities.
- Survey the technology landscape to identify systems and solutions that align with firm strategy, collaborating with executive leadership to recommend, implement, and maintain appropriate technology solutions.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to Technology Business Services, Infrastructure and Operations, Information Security, third-party vendors, and implementation partners.
- Facilitate optimization of current-state architecture during the transformation to future-state architecture.
