About the Role

The Enterprise Architect position is accountable for analyzing and designing Integration and Interoperability domain architecture to meet information technology and business requirements. The architect will establish integration technology standards and processes, assist in developing a secure, scalable governance and operating model, and assess new applications and technologies for integration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide architecture leadership for Enterprise Application Integrations (EAI).
  • Understand enterprise IT business systems, integration points, and identify suitable toolsets for current and future application footprints.
  • Design and build solutions that increase business value using industry-standard methodologies and scalable integration tools/platforms.
  • Facilitate the evaluation and selection of tools and technologies to complement or improve the existing ecosystem.
  • Serve as a domain expert and advisor, collaborating to ensure alignment with future-state architecture.
  • Guide implementation/delivery teams to ensure standard methodologies are communicated and practiced.
  • Plan, coordinate, architect, and supervise activities related to the integration of systems, applications, and third-party solutions.
  • Engage and collaborate with the broader architecture community to provide feedback into strategies and standards.
  • Create and maintain ecosystem diagrams, architectural system and process flows.
  • Establish integration technology standards, processes, and operationalization of integration solutions.
  • Assess new applications, technologies, protocols, and infrastructure components for integration.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
  • 8 years of architecture experience with demonstrated integration expertise in several business and technical verticals.
  • 8 years of industry experience providing technical solutions development for enterprise software or hosted high-tech services using .NET, JEE, and/or JSE frameworks, and Informatica or equivalent.
  • Advanced integration experience with industry-standard integration products, preferably MuleSoft, RabbitMQ, and Informatica.
  • Advanced experience with SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)/ESB (Enterprise Service Bus).
  • Intermediate knowledge of database platforms.
  • Intermediate experience using a JAVA IDE.
  • Advanced knowledge of SDLC, code management concepts, and platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge of at least one programming language such as .NET.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of enterprise architecture.

Pay

The starting base salary for this role is between $150,000.00 – $175,000.00. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, including: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands.

Schedule

Hybrid work model: Employees in office-based positions will work three days or more on-site per week (Monday - Thursday), with Friday designated as a remote-working day unless business-critical tasks require an on-site presence.
