Enterprise AI Platform Director

For our client, we are seeking a Enterprise AI Platform Director to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This leader will shape the enterprise AI platform strategy and guide the evolution of shared capabilities that support broader business and technology priorities. The role will partner closely with technology and business stakeholders to align investments, improve adoption, and ensure the platform is built with governance, security, compliance, and auditability at the forefront. This is a highly strategic position focused on creating a composable foundation for reusable AI capabilities while balancing value, cost, risk, and long-term scalability. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $141,433 – $223,550 annually Responsibilities Define the enterprise AI platform strategy and capability roadmap Align platform investments with enterprise priorities and product roadmaps Establish a composable platform direction for reusable capabilities Evaluate opportunities, value, cost, risk, and adoption needs Communicate platform strategy to technology and business stakeholders Lead the design and evolution of shared AI platform capabilities Embed governance, security, and compliance into platform capabilities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience 10+ years of progressive technology experience in platform engineering, architecture, software engineering, data and analytics, AI/ML platforms, or enterprise technology leadership Preferred cloud, architecture, data, AI, or related technical certifications Strong understanding of governance, security, privacy, compliance, and auditability in enterprise AI Excellent knowledge of generative AI concepts and modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Benefits Comprehensive rewards package Opportunities for professional development Supportive work environment Flexible work arrangements Health and wellness programs Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
