Enterprise AI Automation Engineer

About the role

Join our enterprise application development team as an Enterprise AI Automation Engineer. In this role, you will lead integration, workflow engineering, and platform automation initiatives by leveraging Python, PowerShell, REST APIs, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Copilot Studio to transform business operations and build scalable cloud-native solutions. Location: Boston, Massachusetts. Job type: Contract.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications, REST APIs, web services, and event-driven integration architectures.
• Automate complex business and IT workflows using Python, PowerShell, APIs, and Power Platform technologies.
• Engineer AI-powered workflows, agents, and custom tools utilizing Copilot Studio, Azure, and Microsoft Graph.
• Develop and manage ServiceNow Scripted REST APIs, provisioning workflows, and automated request fulfillments.
• Establish monitoring, logging, CI/CD pipelines, and security controls across all automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, API development, and enterprise integration architectures.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python and PowerShell scripting.
• Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure), identity services (Entra ID, OAuth 2.0), and enterprise SaaS technologies (ServiceNow, Microsoft 365).
• Experience with low-code AI platform engineering (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio).
• Preferred: Experience with Azure Functions, Azure App Services, and automated CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps/GitHub.
• Preferred: Deep technical expertise in ServiceNow Scripted REST APIs and workflow orchestration.
• Preferred: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead architectural discussions with cross-functional teams.
