About the role

An academic health system seeks an ENT Hospitalist to join its Otolaryngology team. This inpatient-focused faculty position involves managing high-acuity cases through consults, rounding, procedures, and care coordination. The role offers opportunities for performing inpatient surgeries and bedside procedures, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and APP support.

Responsibilities

• Providing inpatient ENT care, including consultations and procedures
• Participating in resident teaching during rotations
• Expanding hospital-based ENT services and consult volume
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Engaging in high-acuity case management and bedside procedures
• Consultations, inpatient rounding, procedures, surgical cases, teaching, and service line development

Qualifications

• General ENT expertise, with or without subspecialty focus
• Interest in academic medicine and resident education
• Comfort handling high-acuity inpatient cases and procedures
• Collaborative and growth-oriented mindset

Schedule

The position includes a Monday–Friday schedule, with potential for surgical involvement and program growth.
