Enrolled Nurse (Pool)

About the role
Working as part of the Nurse Pool team, you will have the unique experience of working across a wide range of general and specialty areas, including Oncology, trauma, infectious diseases, respiratory, renal, neurology, emergency, cardiology, neurosurgery, and burns. As a Nurse Pool team member, you will be provided with education and support, exposure to different specialties within a supportive framework, and access to a Nurse Educator.
Permanent part-time and full-time hours available (0.5 - 1.0 EFT). Please note that casual hours are not offered in this position.
Responsibilities
- Work across a variety of specialties and adapt to new ward environments
- Maintain a high level of communication with patients, staff, and visitors
- Provide patient-centred care in a team environment
- Work a rotating roster including morning, afternoon, and night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Requirements
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Successfully completed a Graduate year
- Demonstrates the appropriate competencies and skills as per the relevant Enrolled Nurse classification
- Motivated individual who enjoys working in a team environment
- Strong understanding and background in patient-centred care
