Enrolled Nurse (Pool)

About the role

Working as part of the Nurse Pool team, you will have the unique experience of working across a wide range of general and specialty areas, including Oncology, trauma, infectious diseases, respiratory, renal, neurology, emergency, cardiology, neurosurgery, and burns. As a Nurse Pool team member, you will be provided with education and support, exposure to different specialties within a supportive framework, and access to a Nurse Educator.

Permanent part-time and full-time hours available (0.5 - 1.0 EFT). Please note that casual hours are not offered in this position.

Responsibilities

• Work across a variety of specialties and adapt to new ward environments
• Maintain a high level of communication with patients, staff, and visitors
• Provide patient-centred care in a team environment
• Work a rotating roster including morning, afternoon, and night shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Requirements

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
• Successfully completed a Graduate year
• Demonstrates the appropriate competencies and skills as per the relevant Enrolled Nurse classification
• Motivated individual who enjoys working in a team environment
• Strong understanding and background in patient-centred care
