Enrichment Teacher - English Language Learner

Duties

• Develop relevant lessons
• Ensure academic and social development of scholars
• Identify the needs and create original instructional plans
• Monitor scholars' progress and make adjustments
• Create a safe and productive learning environment
• Mentor and provide guidance to Assistant Teachers and volunteers
• Supervise scholars in in-person day-to-day activities and special functions like field trips

Qualifications

• At least three years of related experience
• A teaching certification is preferred but not required
• A high school graduate, 18 years of age, with at least six months experience working with youth
• Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and technological skills
• Strong relationship building, mentoring, communication, and leadership skills
• Commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and service to diverse populations

This can be in the form of your high school diploma/equivalent, unofficial college transcripts, college/university diploma, teaching certification.
