Enrichment Teacher

About the role

We are seeking an engaging and energetic Preschool Teacher to support our enrichment programs, including cooking, yoga, and sports-based activities. This role is responsible for creating a fun, safe, and structured environment where children can explore new skills, build confidence, and develop social‑emotional growth through hands‑on experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support enrichment programs such as Kids Café – guide children through hands‑on cooking activities and simple recipes.
• Culinary Club – support older children in more advanced kitchen experiences.
• Young Yogis – facilitate movement, mindfulness, and storytelling activities.
• Kickstart Soccer – engage children in active, play‑based soccer sessions.
• Plan and implement age‑appropriate activities that promote creativity and exploration.
• Promote teamwork and collaboration, coordination and physical development, and social‑emotional learning.
• Ensure a safe and nurturing classroom environment at all times.
• Supervise children during enrichment sessions, maintaining appropriate ratios and active engagement.
• Adapt activities to meet varying developmental levels and learning styles.
• Support children in building practical life skills such as following directions, problem‑solving, and cooperation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of materials, especially in food‑based programs.
• Communicate positively with parents and school leadership regarding children’s participation and progress.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Education coursework preferred.
• Previous experience working with preschool‑aged children.
• Experience or interest in one or more of the following: cooking or food‑based learning; youth fitness, yoga, or movement activities; sports or recreational programming.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead engaging, high‑energy activities while maintaining structure and safety.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Work Environment

Pay

Hourly pay range $17.40 – $20.40.
