Enrichment Program Specialist

More than 8,500 diverse student learners are provided an exceptional education experience throughout the district's early learning center, six elementary schools (K- Grade 5) including both French and Spanish Immersion programs, two middle schools (Grades 6-8), a high school (9-12), and the Edina Virtual Pathway online program.

About the role

The Kids' Club Program Specialist is responsible for planning and leading program staff and students in enriching activities, programs, and special events of the before, after school, and summer full day school-aged childcare programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead enriching activities, programs, and special events for before, after school, and summer childcare programs.
• Support and advance the Edina Public Schools' mission, vision, and core values.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in recreation, education, child development, or a related field.
• At least two (2) years of related work experience.
• Required certifications and training upon hire or within six months of employment: CPR, First Aid, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), and DHS Certification.

Schedule

Full-time, 12-month position. 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Pay

The wage for this position ranges from $30.40 to $32.95 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. New hires will typically start at the entry-level rate within the wage range, while candidates with relevant experience may be placed at a higher starting rate.
