Enrichment Instructor Opportunities
About the role
Concorde Education partners with schools and community organizations to provide engaging enrichment programs that inspire curiosity, creativity, confidence, and lifelong learning.
We are seeking enthusiastic instructors from a wide variety of educational, creative, technical, athletic, and professional backgrounds who are interested in providing instructional services for enrichment programs serving elementary, middle, and high school students.
This posting is intended to identify qualified professionals who may be considered for future independent contractor instructional assignments as opportunities become available.
Assignment scope
Assignment details vary by school and may differ in grade level, schedule, duration, student enrollment, and program focus.
Programs may include instruction in areas such as:
- STEM, engineering, and design challenges
- Coding, robotics, artificial intelligence, and technology
- Digital art, animation, photography, video production, and graphic design
- Fine arts, music, dance, theater, and creative expression
- Chess, strategy games, tabletop games, and academic enrichment
- Cooking, household science, entrepreneurship, and career exploration
- Sports, fitness, yoga, movement, and wellness
- Study skills, tutoring, literacy, and other educational enrichment programs
Responsibilities
Depending on the assignment, responsibilities may include:
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction.
- Prepare for each instructional session using approved lesson plans, provided curriculum, or instructor-developed activities when appropriate.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage active student participation while adapting instruction to varying ages, experience levels, and learning styles.
- Maintain appropriate supervision and classroom management throughout each session.
- Communicate professionally with designated school personnel and Concorde Education representatives regarding attendance, scheduling, and program needs.
- Follow all applicable school policies, site procedures, safety expectations, and emergency protocols.
- Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled instructional sessions.
Qualifications
Qualified applicants typically possess:
- At least 60 completed college credits (or equivalent relevant professional experience where appropriate for the assignment)
- Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, instructing, mentoring, or leading youth programs
- Experience working with children or adolescents in schools, camps, community organizations, or similar settings
- Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Reliable, professional, and organized work habits
Compensation
Compensation is determined individually for each assignment and may vary based on factors including assignment complexity, instructor qualifications, relevant experience, geographic location, scheduling considerations, specialized expertise, and school partner requirements.
Compensation details are communicated prior to assignment acceptance.
