English Trainer

Responsible for

• Offering English training in job-specific areas
• Focusing on teaching English for specific areas of knowledge or on-the-job capabilities needed for certain positions
• Identifying English training needs and planning training programs to bridge learning gaps
• Liaising with HODs and identifying special English needs for individuals, and planning individual English Development Plans
• Identifying English communication difficulties and planning to address specific needs
• Planning and preparing well-structured, clearly presented lessons appropriate to the abilities of the staff
• Helping staff develop High Performance English skills in line with company standards and uphold the VPV of Villa Hotels
• Creating an enthusiastic learning environment that facilitates learning through effective strategies
• Encouraging a positive, proactive approach to learning and building productive relationships among staff
• Providing high-quality, accurate, constructive, and targeted information to HODs about staff progress
• Evaluating, recording, and monitoring staff progress for training programs and preparing reports
• Maintaining learning and teaching materials and resources as needed
• Keeping up-to-date with current trends in English in relevant industries and using trends to improve English communication among staff
• Complying with all relevant policies and procedures, and legislative requirements
• Adhering to the Code of Conduct of the resort
• Performing other relevant duties as requested by the Training and Development Manager(s)

Qualifications

• Experience in English Language teaching
• Good presentation skills
• People person
• Open to learning
