English Teacher - Volunteer Position - Onsite in Moldova • Europe - 2 years, plus 3 months training

About The Project

To meet the Ministry of Education’s goal of a population trained and confident in English language skills, Moldova is committed to providing high-quality English instruction to students at the primary, middle, and secondary school levels across the country.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach engaging English language classes to primary, middle, and/or secondary school students.
• Design, adapt, and pilot new English teaching methods or materials.
• Encourage and provide training on the use of digital resources.
• Facilitate English clubs for students to practice English in and outside school settings, including language contests, games, and theatrical plays.
• Organize and facilitate summer camps for additional English practice.
• Promote communities of practice exchanges and professional development opportunities among teachers.
• Work on additional projects that meet the community’s interests and priorities, such as English language clubs for adults.

Requirements

Qualified candidates will have one or more of the following criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
