English Teacher for Kids at Le Bouscat

About the role

Kids&Us Le Bouscat is seeking an energetic and fun English teacher to join their team. The position involves teaching children (primarily 4‑6 years old) during extracurricular time – after school each day, a full day on Wednesdays, and Saturday mornings. Meetings and preparation take place on Tuesday afternoons. The contract runs from November 2026 to the end of June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Prepare classes using Kids&Us lesson plans, music, games, and stories.
• Monitor students’ progress and guide learners toward their goals.
• Develop strong, meaningful relationships with students, their families, and peers/mentors.
• Communicate efficiently, effectively, and professionally.
• Attend meetings and preparation sessions on Tuesday afternoons.
• Write reports and perform extra activities (preparation per level, meetings) as required.

Requirements

• Reside in Le Bouscat (33110) – Bordeaux or the close surroundings.
• Hold Auto‑Entrepreneur status with a confirmed SIRET number (freelance) or possess a valid French work permit.
• Be a European citizen or hold a valid French work permit.
• Have prior teaching experience with children.
• Demonstrate advanced or proficiency level in English (native speaker or bilingual C1‑C2).
• Be available for the scheduled extracurricular hours (after school daily, Wednesday full day, Saturday mornings) and Tuesday afternoon meetings/preparation.
• Show flexibility with work hours and availability.
