About the role
Fairfield College Preparatory School is seeking a Full-time English Teacher to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for an energetic and passionate educator who is committed to fostering young men who are intellectually competent, religious, loving, committed to doing justice, and open to growth.
Responsibilities
- Teach five sections of English
- Participate in an Ignatian Educator Formation program
- Work collaboratively with members of the English Department
- Attend all department and faculty meetings and professional development opportunities
- Auxiliary in the extracurricular and spiritual life of the school community
Requirements
- Experience teaching in a high school setting
- Experience with or familiarity with Jesuit ideals
- At least a BA in English and/or Secondary Education; MA preferred
Qualifications
- BA in English and/or Secondary Education
- MA preferred
Skills
- Ability to teach in a 1:1 setting with iPads
