About the role
We are seeking a highly organized, flexible English teacher who can collaborate effectively with others and possesses a passion for English and strong content knowledge of literature and literary genres.
Responsibilities
- Implement effective classroom management strategies
- Engage students with innovative lesson plans
- Develop students’ writing, vocabulary, and reading skills
- Teach 9th and 10th grade students
Requirements
- High school teaching experience
- NJ teaching certification
Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferred but not required for this substitute position
