Qualifications

• Holder of a Certificates of Eligibility must complete the 50 hour pre-professional experience as required by the NJ Department of Education
• Demonstrates knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Effectively communicates and understands job instructions both verbally and written in the English language

Requirements

• Required criminal history background check
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status

NJ Department of Education Certification Required: English K-12 certification or qualify for certification through the Limited Instructional Certification Program

Secondary Level: Grades 9 -12

Average Salary: Commensurate with experience
