As a Texas Certified Teacher on our platform, you’ll leverage your classroom expertise in a flexible, remote tutoring environment—setting your own schedule, earning competitive rates, and making a meaningful impact on students’ lives from home.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 online tutoring to students.
• Accept on-demand tutoring requests when available (Instant Tutoring).
• Diagnose student gaps, adjust pacing, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs.
• Explain concepts using multiple methods to ensure student understanding.
• Apply TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) standards in one-on-one instruction.

Requirements

• Active Texas Teaching Certificate (Required): Must hold a current, active teaching certificate issued by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Certificate number will be verified during the application process.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Deep knowledge in your certified subject area(s), with the ability to connect K-12 curriculum concepts to student needs across grade levels.
• Classroom Teaching Experience: Demonstrated experience in a Texas classroom setting.
• Conceptual Teaching & Adaptive Instruction: Skilled at diagnosing student gaps, adjusting pacing, and explaining concepts through multiple methods.
• Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify common student struggles, explain material using varied approaches, and adapt instruction to different learning styles.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
