Remote Spanish Interpreter opportunities available for U.S. residents.

About the role

Work from home as a Bilingual Call Center Interpreter, handling high-volume inbound calls. This is a long-term contract position with a minimum commitment of 25 hours per week. Video interpreting may also be required.

Responsibilities

• Handle real-time live calls on demand from a quiet home office.
• Interpret Spanish/English conversations across industries such as healthcare, government, police services, insurance, financial, and travel & hospitality.
• Interpret conversations that may range from simple to complex or technical.
• Participate in video calls as a mandatory part of interpreting duties.

Requirements

• Fully fluent in both Spanish and English.
• Able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week.
• Manual dexterity to type or write notes.
• Comfortable being on camera for video interpreting.
• Use of personal device (tablet, laptop, or desktop).
• Private high-speed internet connection for work-related communication.
• Dry erase marker board and paper shredder.
• Dedicated, private, and quiet workspace within your home.

Qualifications

• Previous experience not required.
• Education or work experience in teaching or translation considered an asset.

Pay

$15 an hour.

Schedule

• Part-time, minimum 25 hours per week.
• 3 weeks of paid training, with training hours from 5 AM to 12:30 PM Pacific Standard Time.
