English - Slovak Interpreter

Responsibilities

• Interpret spoken words in real-time for meetings, medical appointments, legal proceedings, and community interactions between English and Slovak speakers
• Ensure accurate and complete interpretation while adhering to industry standards and best practices
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professionalism throughout all interpretation sessions
• Prepare for assignments by researching relevant terminology and gaining an understanding of the specific contexts involved
• Continuously improve language proficiency and stay informed about relevant industry developments to better serve our clients

Requirements

• Fluency in both English and Slovak, with excellent oral and written communication skills in both languages
• Strong cultural awareness and understanding to facilitate effective and sensitive interpretation
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in high-pressure situations
• Prior experience in interpretation, particularly within medical or legal settings, is preferred
