About the role
English 1 is looking for passionate, culturally curious teachers who want to teach internationally, broaden their expertise, and make a real difference in China. Whether you have several years of classroom experience or are transitioning from another teaching role, this is an opportunity to teach English to young learners ages 3–16 in interactive, high-energy classrooms.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons using English 1’s award-winning curriculum and digital tools.
- Track student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support their growth.
- Participate in school events, cultural programs, and community activities.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree (in any subject).
- A valid passport.
- A genuine interest in education, travel, and cultural exchange.
- Clean background check.
ESL certification (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) is a plus—we can sponsor it.
