Paterson Public Schools, the third largest school district in New Jersey, is seeking certified English/Language Arts teachers for middle and high school positions for the 2026-27 school year. Qualifications
- Hold a New Jersey K-8, Middle School Language Arts, or English certificate (or meet certification requirements).
- Knowledge of the NJSLS and NJSLA.
- Ability to analyze and use data to drive instruction.
- Experience working with students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good moral character.
- Critical thinker, problem solver, and respectful of others.
- Computer literate and able to use interactive computer instructional software.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, and the community.
