English into Latvian Financial/Banking freelance linguists

About the role

In order to meet the translation needs of our clients, we are currently looking to expand our database of freelance linguists working from English into Albanian and based in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Proven experience with finance/banking content
• Completion of a short client-specific e-learning module
• A background check (required by the bank) if we proceed with onboarding

Qualifications

• A degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education; or
• 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; or
• 5 years of translation experience and no degree; or
• A certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body.

Skills

• Native level of target language (Albanian)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Specialized in financial/banking subject matter
• Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar
• Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines
