English and Language Arts (Extended Substitute)

Extended substitute ELA teacher position available from 10/1/26 to 1/4/27.

About the role

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of the English curriculum and the developmental needs of adolescent students. Responsibilities include utilizing a variety of instructional methods and culturally responsive practices to engage learners of all ability levels, supporting and strengthening students' reading, thinking, and writing skills, assessing student progress on an ongoing basis, and integrating instructional technology.

Requirements

• New York State Teaching Certification in English 7-12

Pay

Highly competitive, based on experience and graduate credits, per Rush-Henrietta Central School District Teachers' Contract.
