Job Summary

An Engineering Test Technician will support all aspects of assembly, validation, and qualification testing of hydraulic and electromechanical actuation products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Fabrication, assembly, and use of test fixtures and test rigs
  • Assemble and test hydraulic actuators and electro-mechanical actuators
  • Acceptance testing of hydraulic and/or electromechanical products
  • Ensure calibration and certification of all instrumentation utilized for test
  • Clock maintenance activities related to the test area
  • Support external testing activities at labs when necessary
  • Perform basic machining operations using drill press, Bridgeport mill, manual deburr, and polishing

Education/Experience

  • Associate degree preferred in Mechanical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related technical discipline, or equivalent job experience
  • High school diploma, equivalent certificate, or bronze level WorkKeys certification required
  • Proficiency in drawings, specifications, basic math, computer, technical, and mechanical skills

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AS9100 Quality System
  • Blueprint reading and understanding of GD&T
  • Ability to use precision measuring devices such as micrometers, dial indicators, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum 1 year experience in assembly, test, and troubleshooting of electromechanical and hydraulic actuation products or related mechanical experience
  • General hydraulic theory and knowledge preferred
