Engineering Technician - Junior to Journeyman

This role supports Navy customer in the Pax River / Lexington Park, MD area. Job Description and Responsibilities: Provide hands-on technical support for engineering and testing activities. Install, operate, adjust, and maintain technical systems and test equipment.Support integration, fabrication, laboratory activities, and equipment demonstrations.Collect, record, and interpret test data as assigned.Assist technical staff with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and documentation. Basic Requirements: Junior: less than 3 years of experience related to the position’s duties. Journeyman: 3 to 10 years of experience related to the position’s duties. Candidates will be considered at the appropriate level based on qualifying education and experience. Education Requirements: Junior and Journeyman: Bachelor’s degree. A bachelor’s degree may be replaced by 6 additional years of relevant experience, or an associate’s degree plus 4 additional years of relevant experience. Security Clearance: Secret clearance required; interim Secret is acceptable (must be a US Citizen). Telework and Travel: Primarily on-site at contractor or Government facilities. Telework may be available based on assigned duties and company approval. Less than 5% travel. Contract: This position is pending a contract award.
