Job Duties
- Aid in the planning, development, and execution of stage 4 and 5 test procedures for shipboard C5ISR systems.
- Utilize specialized test equipment to conduct C5ISR Stage 4 and Stage 5 testing.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary technical team to support engineering activities including design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of C5ISR systems.
- Use schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, and layouts created in Autocad and PDF formats to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting functions.
- Create engineering documentation, reports, drawings (such as sketches, flow charts, diagrams, and schematics).
Qualifications
- AA degree in a related field with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or
- High school diploma with at least 8 years of relevant experience, plus relevant certification.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience with one or more shipboard C5ISR systems, including radio communication racks, Interior Communications (Alarm/Safety/Warning), shipboard CG, One/Unclass/SIPRNET LANs, Surface Search Radar, Navigation Distribution system, and Integrated Bridge System.
- Familiarity with C4ISR/C5ISR Interface Control Documents, Block diagrams, and Functional Interface Drawings.
- Active Secret clearance on the first day of employment.
- Experience in one of the following C3ISR, C4ISR, C5ISR, or C6ISR Shipboard Systems: Navigation Data Distribution System (NDDS) with Gyrocompass or Speed Log, Sonar Mission System, or Seawatch and Moriah.
Desired Skills
- Experience with MIL-STD-2106 for developing shipboard industrial test procedures.
- Prior experience using Autocad.
- Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) IA Level II - Security+ certification, or CSSIP, Network+, A+, or equivalent.
