Engineering Technician In Training

About the role

The Engineering Technician In Training will perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials. They will communicate with various stakeholders including project managers, engineering technicians, client representatives, and contractors' representatives regarding the construction site, project requirements, and testing, observation, and inspection requirements and results.

Responsibilities

• Transport material samples to the laboratory for further testing and analysis.
• Tabulate, prepare, and submit data and observations in the form of written and digital reports.
• Communicate findings and results to the Project Manager.
• Maintain and clean assigned equipment, vehicles, and work areas.
• Assist with scheduling and dispatch of Technicians to project sites.
• Adhere to strict safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history
