Engineering Technician III

About the role

Terracon is seeking a materials professional to join our team. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 3-5 years of relevant experience, or the equivalent in training and related experience. Experience with laptop computer use and Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred. A valid driver’s license with an acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction materials testing in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Assess and evaluate the quality of materials used in construction projects.
• Prepare and analyze test results using digital tools to provide critical insights.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding materials testing and inspection.
• Document findings and report results accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with other team members to address material-related issues and expedite solutions.

Requirements

• Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in NICET Level II in Construction Materials Testing, ICC certification, American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), and ASNT Level II certification in nondestructive testing.
• Required Qualifications: ACI certification, American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), and ASNT Level II certification in nondestructive testing.

Qualifications

Skills
