Engineering Technician II

About the role

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for an Engineering Technician II with our healthcare client in Round Lake, IL. This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of research and/or development laboratory tasks and experiments
• Make detailed observations, analyze data and interpret results
• Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory levels for laboratory supplies
• Write experimental reports, summaries and protocols
• Develop and maintain record keeping for experiments performed
• Perform limited troubleshooting and calibration of instruments
• Perform routine assembly and testing portions of projects (e.g. product performance and software script testing)

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills such as word processing, data entry and e-mail
• Basic science and/or math skills
• Team orientation
• High School diploma or equivalent (AA Degree preferred)
• 1+ year of experience

Pay

$21.00 - $26.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.

Schedule

8AM-5PM Monday-Friday, work hours flexible.
