Engineering Technician II

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for an Engineering Technician II with our healthcare client in Round Lake, IL. This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension. Pay: $21.00 - $26.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship. Schedule: 8AM-5PM Mon-Friday, Work hours Flexible. Description:Responsible for performing a wide variety of research and/or development laboratory tasks and experiments.May make detailed observations, analyze data and interpret results.Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory levels for laboratory supplies.May write experimental reports, summaries and protocols.May also develop and maintain record keeping for experiment performed.Perform limited troubleshooting and calibration of instruments.Individual usually is assigned routine assembly and testing portions of projects (e.g. Product performance and software script testing). Qualifications:Good written and verbal communication skillsBasic computer skills such as word processing, data entry and e-mail Basic science and/or math skillsTeam orientation Include the education and experience that is necessary to perform the job satisfactorily.High School diploma or equivalent, AA Degree is preferred, 1+ year of experience.
