Responsibilities
- Affords assistance to engineers and scientists in creating, modifying, and testing products and processes.
- Supports with technical tasks and project support.
- Sets up equipment and monitors tests and experiments.
- Inspects products and processes for flaws and identifies areas of improvement.
- Observes results, collects data, and compiles summaries and reports.
- Engages in extensive research and development during the creation phase of products.
- Utilizes computer-aided design and drafting equipment during the design phase.
Requirements
- Required education and experience: Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 1-2 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Preferred education and experience: Associate's Degree, Discipline/Major: Technical training preferred
- Knowledge, skills & abilities: Technical expertise. Ability to understand and follow directions. Design expertise. Mathematical skills. Engineering Support. Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) Software.
