Engineering Technician – Connection & Infrastructure Acceptance Group

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Conducting property and paralegal research.
  • Invoicing, collecting, processing, and daily reconciliation of various utility connection and development fees.
  • Generating new utility billing accounts, including setting up appropriate billing codes, customer identification information, and property information and details.
  • Generating work orders for the installation of utility connections and services.
  • Providing paraprofessional support to senior staff as needed by conducting research and working on special projects.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSet, TASC).
  • Three years engineering support experience in the area of assignment.

Additional Preferred Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of MUNIS, Access databases, ArcGIS, and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Proficiency with building databases and/or queries.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
